Privacy Policy
Last updated · July 2026
RedForge is a local-first application. The core principle behind it is that your data stays on your machine, and this policy simply describes what that means.
What the application collects
Nothing. RedForge runs entirely on your computer and communicates only with your local Ollama instance. It does not send prompts, model responses, evaluation results, reports, or usage data to any remote server. There is no account, no login, and no telemetry.
Where your data lives
All evaluation data — attacks, model responses, sessions, findings, and reports — is stored in a local SQLite database on your machine. You own it, you can inspect it, and you can delete it at any time. Nothing is transmitted off-device.
This website
This marketing website is a static site. It sets no tracking cookies and runs no analytics. It loads web fonts from Google Fonts; when it does, your browser contacts Google's servers, and Google's own privacy policy applies to that request. No other third-party services are used.
Third parties
RedForge depends on Ollama to run models locally. Ollama runs on your machine as well; refer to its documentation for its own behavior. RedForge itself adds no external network calls.
